Kelli Hansen is an oil painter living in Billings, Montana with her husband and daughter. She draws inspiration from the flora and fauna of the natural world, often pairing them with everyday objects or placing them in unexpected settings. Her work explores the language of symbolism -especially as it appears in dreams- infusing each piece with layers of meaning beyond the surface. She is fascinated by the way ordinary items can evoke emotion and memory, and she uses that magic to bring a touch of whimsy and wonder to her paintings. Kelli holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska and has exhibited her work in several states across the U.S.
